Hold different directions on the D-pad before the demo loads to select the character for that player.

Wipeout:
Continuous play Play the track as normal until the end. At that point, slow down and stop. Do not press any buttons. The CPU takes control after approximately 10 seconds. The ship will be viewed from different angles. Press any button to play the level again.
