Quick game:
Hold A + C and press Start on the selection screen. Each period will be 30 seconds in duration.

Always win face-off:
Hold B during a face-off.

Edit opposing team:
Elect to play as the home team. Use controller two on the screen that appears before the face-off to edit the other team.

Select CPU goalie:
Hold A + B and power on the Genesis. Release the buttons until the "Stevens/Yzerman" screen fades. Use controller two to select the CPU goalie at the screen that appears before the face-off. Note: Selecting no goalie and will leave the opposing goal defenseless.

Super players:
Create a player and select any position except for goalie. Set all attributes to "81". Some attributes will change to exceed 90 after the player is selected for a team.

Super goalie:
Create a goalie and set all attributes to "99", except for "Speed" which should be "75" and "Offensive Awareness" which should be "36". A goalie rated at "99" will be created after the he is selected for a team.

Hint: Easy goal:
Skate close to the goalie and do a backhander when opposite team's goalie is on the bottom of the screen.

Take a shot at the opposite team's goalie when he is on the top of the screen. Come from the right side -- once the shot is taken, most of the times a rebound will be made. Get the rebound and slap it in.
