Hint: Easy fights:
When the puck is out of play, when the quarter is over, or when the game is over approach any opponent and repeatedly press A. The gloves will fall and you will get into a fight. Alternately, keep pressing A to check your opponent until he begins to fight.

When you get into a fight, move back, let your opponent swing and miss, then move forward and punch. Then, move back and once again your opponent will swing and miss. Move forward and punch. Repeat this until you have won the fight.
