Press A + C + Start on controller two at the Sega logo, then press L to increase the credits.
Enable the "Arcade mode" code, then press X + Y + Z + Start on controller one.
Press R(3) at the options screen. Options to record and play back games to memory will become available. Note: Load the "Demo" recorded game to view an exceptional game.
Hold one of the following button combinations at the start of the corresponding level until a hidden message appears.

Additional options (Out Run):
Press A + C + Start for an expanded options menu. Set the "Cornering" option to "easy" for better gripping tires.
Highlight the "Game Mode" selection on the main menu, hold A + C and press Left until the "Overseas (Smooth) or Japan (Smooth) options appear. These selections will allow the game to run at double the normal framerate.
Press A + C + Start on controller two when the Sega logo appears on title screen to play the original arcade version. To insert coins, press L on controller one. Note: The standard options menu is not available when this code is enabled.
Enable the "Arcade mode" code. Hold X + Y + Z + Start on controller one to adjust the difficulty level and number of credits.
Press L(7), C at the Columns title screen. A sound will confirm correct code entry. Press X at the mode selection screen, then choose "Option".
Press Z during game play.
Highlight the rightmost choice at the course/character selection screen. Then, press Left and immediately press A before the pointer stops on the next character.
