Level select:
Quickly press Left, Left, I, Right, Right, II, Up, Down, Up, Down at the title screen.

Sound test:
Highlight the "Set-Up" option at the title screen and quickly press Left, Left, I, Right, Right, II, Up, Down, Up, Down.
