Use the following trick for new players who cannot get the four special types (Durahan, Dragon, Zan, and Joker) yet. Trade with another player who has them. You can use them even if you have not gained permission to raise them at the Shrine. Also, they will be kept in your book so you can regenerate them anytime you desire.
To combine two monsters, go to the town and sekect "Studio". Next, freeze your monster. Then, go back to the Shrine and enter any tablet. Once you have a monster, freeze it. Then, select "Combine" to combine the two monsters to equal one monster.
